    Le participe passé employé avec l'auxiliaire 'avoir' s'accorde en genre (masculin/féminin) et en nombre (singulier/pluriel) avec le complément d'objet direct (COD) lorsqu'il précède le verbe.

    Dans les autres cas, le participe passé reste invariable.

     

    Exemples :

    - Tu as commis une erreur. (Pas de complément d'objet précédant le verbe:  pas d'accord du participe)

    - L'erreur que tu as commise.  (Accord du participe : 'erreur' est le COD  du verbe 'commettre')
