    Pour conjuger les verbes du 1er groupe :

    1/on enlève le -er de l'infintif: chant-er (en bleu le radical)

    2/on ajoute ensuite au radical la terminaison du temps voulu:

    nous chant-ions ( imparfait )

    nous chant-âmes ( passé simple )
