    Adverbs ending with 'ment'

    Souvent on hésite sur l'orthographe des adverbes qui se terminent par 'ment'.
    Faut-il 1 ou 2 m ?
    exemples: bruyamment, prudemment, lentement, obstinément, crûment...

    Pour un francophone, la règle est assez simple (et pour une fois il n'y a pas d'exception)

    mais... il faut connaître la prononciation et c'est le plus difficile pour un étranger.
    vous prenez l'adjectif de base (parfois au féminin) et vous ajoutez la fin en vous fiant à votre oreille.

    Quand on entend 'a-mment', il faut toujours 2mm 'bruyamment, prudemment'
    dans tous les autres cas, si vous entendez 'e-ment' 'é-ment' 'u-ment' 'i-ment'... il ne faut qu'un seul m 'lentement,obstinément crûment gentiment'

    EXERCICE
    Je vous donne l'adjectif , à vous de recomposer l'adverbe dont les lettres sont mélangées et à partir du cours exercez-vous à le prononcer.
