Hello dear Friends!

Another easy exercice that everyone can do!

1) Do you like camping ? With what comfort?
2) Is telling a lie always wrong?
3) Do you think girls have as many opportunities in life as boys?
4) 'Never look back... Look straight ahead!'

Go for it! with THE FORCE.

Hello dears,

Encore quelques problèmes de transmission de messages... Désolée !

Here is ANSWER A: topic3: please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.
Do you think that girls have as many opportunities in life as boys?
Since the 15th century and until the present day, women have fought for equal rights, and to gain their freedom and independence.
In 2025, I believe we can say that attitudes and customs have changed a great deal. Girls have access to the high schools, they work as CEOs of major companies, they pilot cranes on construction sites and fly bombers. Women are
even present on the latest nuclear submarines. We can see girls on rugby pitches and boxing rings. Women can vote, lead governments and choose whether or not to have children, have their own bank account. etc...
Thanks to courageous, intelligent and inspirational women such as the very first French feminist Christine de Pisan, followed by the English women Mary Astell and Margaret Cavendish, and the woman nicknamed " the Mother of Feminism": Mary Wollstonecraft who have been the pioneers. However here is still too much violence against women in the world, too many women are subject to male dictatorship and oppressed. We have a long way to go, but the fight goes on...

Hello!
Answer A Topic 3
Sorry, I can't use colours or underline.
Not much to say, it's a good text.
« women have fought » I would use another form
No full stop between account and etc
The sentence beginning with « Thanks to » is not a real sentence (a verb or verbs needed).
- inspirational women ? would « inspiring » be better?
However here is still too much violence … « here » is wrong, probably a typo

ANSWER B: Topic 3: please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy...
'Of course!' men say, girls and boys now have the same rights, the same occasions. They go to the same schools, play together, study together and hear the medias harping on about "me too" and men who are allowed to take two weeks leave for the birth of a baby! So, who would say that they are not equal?
It is well known that girls are less good in maths and sciences because part of their brains was less stimulated when they were very young. It is therefore society determining and shaping the future of kids, not their intelligence, and this is a terrible realization...Women must be persuaded that they are intellignet; men are constantly repeted that they are...
Women must stop working when they have kids, while men can go on working when they want. Women have what is called maternal instinct, but men have to learn to develop an attachement to the kids... So, it is not a question of rights but of circumstances...
A little work for you!

answerB TOPIC3
Of course! Men say: ‘Girls and boys now have the same rights and opportunities.’
First, schools are co-educational. Girls and boys play together and study together. Second, they hear the media constantly harping on about the slogan: ‘Me too.’
Furthermore, nowadays men are entitled to two weeks ' leave when a child is born. So who would dare deny gender equality?
However, if we say that girls are less gifted in mathematics and science, it is actually because a part of their brain was less stimulated when they were very young. It is therefore society that determines and shapes children's futures, not their intelligence, and that is a terrible realisation...
On the other hand, women have to convince themselves that they are intelligent, while men are constantly told that they are...
On top of that, women have to stop working when they have children, while men can go on working when they want to. Women have what is called maternal instinct, but men have to learn to develop their paternal love.
To conclude, gender equality is therefore not a question of rights, but of education.

However, if we say that girls are less gifted/not as/so good* at mathematics and science, it is actually because a part of their brain was less stimulated when they were very young. It is therefore society that determines and shapes the?? children's future
On the other hand, women have to convince themselves that they are intelligent, while men are constantly told** that they are...

To conclude, gender equality is therefore not (only) a question of rights, but (also) of education.

1) Do you like camping ? With what confort ?
I haven’t went camping for a long time, decades and even more. I was a teenager. But I remember that I really liked it : being in countryside the whole time, sleeping under the stars, breathing the fresh air…and very cheap holidays. But I remember as well, after several days camping was also feeling uncomfortable, and even dirty because it was difficult to get washed. I was young and it was not serious concerns. But now, I am seventy-three years old. I like comfort, a real roof when it rains or when the weather is too hot or too cold, a bathroom for the family, just the family. Anyway, a flat for living and the countryside near for walking whenever I want. Now, it is what I prefer.

1)Do you like camping? With what comfort?
Yes, I like camping with just my boyfriend, a tent and a sleeping bag.
I also like to have a nice picnic basket with wine, chocolate sandwiches and fresh fruit to enjoy under the stars.
I love bringing a camera to take photos. I leave my house around 5pm with my boyfriend.
Along the road for nearly an hour taking photos of the setting sun.
We put up the tent and have dinner together, looking up at the stars. After 30 minutes of cuddling under the stars,we return to the tent ,get into the sleeping bag and sleep until the morning.
That's how I like camping.

de Our Story, et Playing with words... Pardonnez-moi ces contre temps ! (

Shame on me !
