The use of 'yet' in a question
    Message de jerem027 posté le 06-02-2009 à 15:18:57 (S | E | F)

    Good morning everybody !

I have a question about englih grammar.
If I use "yet" as the exemple :

Is the annual report ..... yet ?

What sort of word must be employed (noun, adverb, ...)?
    Thank you.

    Jérémy

In this context an adjective is needed
Is the annual report ready/finished yet?

    Thank you.

In fact, I have 4 possibilities.
The first : avail (It is wrong because it is a noun or verb)
The second : available (I think it is the correct answer)
The third : availability (It is a noun)
and the fourth : availing (It is the continuous form of avail)

Can you tell me if I have am right ?
