    erci !!!!

This article entitled « overwork kills xxx employee » was published on BBC website on the ten oh July two thousand and eight.

It is about an article on employees' death in Japan which is provoked by the overwork. And families try to obtain compensations

In two thousand and six, a forty five-year-old engineer died because he too much worked, he pushed too hard himself. He made more than eighty hours of overtime a month. This death is called in karoshi Japan. His wife waits for a decision which would give the right to her in compensations. It is not the only one to have died because of one overwork, the other one died in two thousand two. This phenomenon is a big problem in Japan.

I think that the overwork is a phenomenon important for Japan because they have a strong culture of work. Indeed, Japanese have on average one week of vacancy a year, while in France, there is least five week of vacancy. Japan would have no this problem if it left more spare time to the employees. Finally, the overwork costs dear because it is necessary to pay compensations. And it gives a bad reputation to companies.
