    Bonjour à tous,

    j'ai rédigé un rapport en anglais et j'aurais voulu savoir si j'avais fait des fautes,

    X = le nom de l'entreprise

    Terms of reference
    To discover the functioning of the store, draw conclusions about their problems and determine its threats and opportunities with the study of environment.
    To recommend any necessary action.

    Procedure
    Information was obtained on the intranet of the company and thanks to the firm’s manuals. I research some information on the database of the ITM Lyon’s school. I also asked the Managing Director when I need details which are not specified on the Intranet.

    Information
    1. Market research proved that the X Group develops a strategy based on the quality of their products and their cheaper prices. Not only does X record a significant increase of its profits every year but it also play an important role for the student who research the good value for money (there is an University at 200meters of the store: 30 000 students).
    2. The major parts of the customers are student and the elderly and X is opened nonstop for them.
    3. Two competitors: Z, Y threat the company. But X has the most important turnover thanks to its large ranges and its cheaper prices.
    4. Z is being renovated with the concept MAG3 (we play with the lighting to sell better products) whereas X hasn’t this concept. But X hasn’t lost customers.
    5. Trend indicators note with the crisis people need good quality products with cheaper price and X answers this problem.

    Conclusion
    I think X is going to keep growing because it replies the needs of consumers. X Group is one of the leaders on the market.

    Recommendations
    1. X should adopt the concept MAG3 for increase the number of customers and its turnover.
    2. Have always products in shelf, avoid the breaks for not to lose any money.
    3. Be careful of potential current and new competitors which could destabilize its number one position in the district of the University.
